Your Musical Journey

With almost a decade of teaching experience, I've had the privilege of helping musicians of all ages and skill-levels find and develop their passion. In addition to my private practice, I currently teach at both The Bay Ridge School of Music and Music Box Studios in Brooklyn and Staten Island. My passion for music however, extends far beyond the classroom.

For me, the goal of teaching is to foster a lifelong love of music. I believe that a positive and encouraging environment, where enjoyment comes first, is key to success. My lessons are designed to be a collaborative and supportive experience, prioritizing the individual needs of each student. My private students will receive a steady stream personalized notes, warm-ups, practice tips and any other resources I can provide. Whether you’re hoping to sing better in the shower or play piano at Carnegie Hall, I am committed to accompanying my students towards their goals.

    65 /hr + $10 transportation fee = $300 / month

    • I will bring my own keyboard if you don’t have one. fee may vary up or down depending on distance

    In Studio:

    $65 / hr + $25 booking fee = $360 / month

    • I book a private studio in Manhattan

  • My approach to teaching voice centers on the belief that singing is a deeply personal and vulnerable act. With over 12 years of singing experience, I have the knowledge and experience to help you find your unique sound. My real-world experience, singing with my own band and with others at bars, venues, and private events, gives me a unique perspective on performance, stage presence, and vocal endurance in any setting.

    Beyond the stage, my focus is on healthy technique and building confidence. In addition to our weekly sessions, every student receives a custom vocal warm-up and supplementary materials to help them practice and grow, giving tools to share your voice with the world.

  • My approach to teaching piano centers on the belief that a strong foundation in technique should be balanced with passion and fun. With over 10 years of experience behind the piano, I've had the privilege of performing in a wide variety of styles, from the off-off-Broadway show Latin Lover to the raw energy of my rock-and-roll band. As a hired gun for many other bands across NYC, I also have experience playing jazz, pop, and classical music in a professional settings.

    For my younger students, I use a structured lesson book series to teach them to read music, but I always encourage them to choose their own favorite songs to keep the process fun and engaging. In addition to our weekly sessions, every student receives detailed lesson notes and supplementary materials to help them practice and grow.

Policy

The above per month pricing is based off of a four lesson per month (once a week) model. During months where there are five lessons due to how the weeks fall you will be charged for the additional lesson. I will send an invoice at the beginning of each month for that month’s lessons. Need to cancel? No problem, reach out and we can reschedule or cancel your lesson for a %100 refund of that session. Want a unique set up, like every other week lessons or different lengths of time lessons? No problem, let’s work something out.
